given the mess that my life tends to be these days, how tired I am cause of the season's work my tushie off mentality, and any lack of family or friends more than Lee (who, btw, never put up a tree himself so it really doesn't feel like xmas here), I thought I'd use this little post to put just a little bit of christmas in my otherwise day off day

I hope your Christmas was ultimately better than it sounded, my friend. It is difficult to be at peace with yourself when family is scattered or gone and life wants to drag you in unhappy directions. My year has been like that as well. But it is from inside yourself that improvements in your life must come, and I wish you the serenity and wisdom to be able to tap that resource.

And I also wish you a Happy Birthday. Make the next year count, Frisk!
