So, it's not often a TV show catches me and it typically doesn't last when it does. NBC has a current show that I really like, but also really hate. It's MerlinI think the show has great writing and good acting. I love the story line and I'm glad to see that a fantasy show has such potential...however, I hate the CG but most of all I'm fearful that ( Read more... )

I'm shunning it because I don't trust NBC to keep TV shows on the air.

I imagine only Jason is going to have a problem with it butchering the mythos. The rest of us would take it or leave it based on if it entertains us.

I don't generally hold the quality of the CG as a linchpin on how good something is. But bad CG can make an otherwise intense or dramatic scene into a bad cartoon. However, I can think of plenty of shows with bad CG where it basically didn't matter.

That being said, I still like Sam Neill's Merlin miniseries, a decade after the fact.

I still have the two hour premier unwatched on my DVR. I keep meaning to watch it and decide if I want to keep going, but now that I know it's on Hulu, I can just keep putting it off. Thanks, internets, you make my procrastination easier to bare!

but more importantly, you can delete it off your DVR and have room for more things to sit there unwatched...when did you jump forward into technology? did you totally give up on VHS?

I still have my VCR, since without it I wouldn't be able to watch the thousands of tapes you just gave me, but as far as programming, I am nuts about my DVR. I got it a few months ago, and other than one Nascar related programming error on the side of Fox, I gotta say nothing before now can match.
