They went on to say that the outter body was scrapped, and long with the engine and transmission. The only reason they bought the car for $690,000 was that it had $800,000 worth of armored plate and glass... So basically it was discounted hunk of armor, who's value had been shot (he he thats punny) by sticking an escort lable on it.
