TWO STORIES

There are two stories I wish to tell you,
One is based in a world of misconception,
A world where lies are confused with what is true,
A world with no appreciation,
Of what was made for all,
Is crumbling to a fall.

This story is one that sheds many tears
It is a story of misguided fools dying for their God,
They were men with no fears,

this poem is brilliant!! I just recently watched kingdom of heaven with orlando bloom and it made me rethink the crusades as well. Pity the tables weren't turned and the christians won, as the world as we know it would have been different.
Not that i'm saying the crusades are justified in their brutality, but you must also account for Saladin and his slaying of all who didn't convert to Islam, so I suppose it will always be a contentious issue and one we are still arguing about.

I just had to make a point that these people that all this crap has been going on since Moses wore short pants. and all this "Kill infidels to get into heaven" stuff that we hear the extremists muslims talking about today, I just thought it was a sad piece of irony that that was the christian motto during the crusades well before the islamics used it...funny how things work out.
