there's no reason to delay it. the country as a whole, has debated this amendment ad nauseum, and its time to finally see where our leaders stand. As it stands, most of the senators agree that only about half support the amendment, which isn't going to get it passed. I think it really doesn't matter either way at this point. This doesn't mean I'm apathetic towards the amendment, I just think that if it does pass, it will only serve to make us more pissed off, and thus more willing to do something about it.
