As a society and as a culture we are obviously extremly lazy. Not only in ragards to actually moving(cause many ppl jsut sit around all day and drink beer) but as in regards to being aware and knowledgable. Not only are we not knowledgable, but we are greedy and blind ( Read more... )

Before regionals (since I won't be able to go because of events that I must attend to), I'm gonna purchase you something that involves a lot of Reese's or anything peanut butter chocolatey. Only the best for my number one wrestler.

Anyway, I think the problem involves the lack of awareness and education about these things. People don't really want to take the time out from their busy lives (trying to make money, make ends meet and pay bills) to learn about the situation of inequality and all that corporate/capitalist business. Those who are aware probably try to do something about it but it's impossible for them to do something about it when they try to raise a family; it's reality and something people have to accept.

My reasoning made a lot more sense in my head but I just had some Nyquil and I think I'm about to pass out. I'll think of something a lot more articulate later.

Passionate hugs for a worthy person.

Education is extremely important. Most people have no idea exactly HOW bad Walmart is for our society. After taking a class on Occupational Crime I learned a lot about the different types of crime, how they're committed, how they ARE NOT punished as they should be, and who commits them.

The best way to spread this info? Find out yourself, and then tell your friends. Do some research, it's all out there.

My boyfriend and I refuse to shop at Walmart at all costs. We buy American made jeans and when we can find them-other products made in the US. If each person bought one thing that was entirely made in the US it would save the US 5 million a year. Imagine that.

Props to the insightful post.
