I had a few niggles about it. 1. was Antonio Banderas as an Arab - though he didn't do too badly at it. and 2. was all the gaps or loose ends in the film - it felt like I was watching the "cut" version where they cut like 5 different sub stories - I mean characters just disappeared with no reason or had no further involvement after being introduced..
Things I did like though were 1. all the pagan ritual, philosophy and talk that went on in it, it was unusual in that sense to have seen it in a main stream film. 2. I also liked all the comradely between the group, it felt close. 3. All the people being chopped up with big swords...yeah I liked that part :) and 4. I really want to know what they were laughing about all the time...probably having survived battle and the other bastard not.
