Thanks for the report, Rosie! i'm glad James has returned to happy face and his chipper self, especially for the newbies. i'm looking forward to seeing 'Hawaii Five 0', having been a fan of the original - but cannot imagine James doing an Irish Brogue!! Take care, petal!
i can't imagine for the life of me why i called you that, when i know damn well you're Patti! Put it down to my advanced senility! *shakes head* Take no notice... :D
Thanks! Yeah, it was very cool to see Sullivan and that James is bringing him out into thepublic a bit to see the weirdness! ;) See you in June, JFM Guy!
"AFTER the two hours it would take to get from SF by BART to my car,"
Where the heck did you leave your car that it took two hours on BART?
We felt the quake here in Carlsbad, I've moved in the last two weeks btw, knocked a few things off the wall, but there aren't a lot since we just moved in, but were okay.
Thanks, as usual, for your brilliant report. I laughed and smiled and enjoyed greatly.
You're living in Carlsbad now? Nice! Glad you survived the earthquake fairly unscathed!
It took us about an hour to walk back to the hotel in the pouring rain, get our bags from lockup, secure everything for the two blocks' walk in the rain so it wouldn't get wet on the way to the station...and SJ has bad heel spurs and bad knees, so it takes us a while to walk anywhere, period. Then from Powell Station, SF to Pleasant Hill station, it's nearly an hour by BART. We left my car at the PH station for the weekend. Cheaper to park ($1 vs almost $200--yes parking in SF is that costly)! Then I had to drive two poeple home... It actually took closer to three from the end of the con (picture taking and leave-taking takes some time too!) to actually get on the road!
We like it a lot here. They raised our rent in our other place, but now we are paying less for more room, and it's closer to hubby's work, so all for the good.
Ah, now I get it. We have done that before, parked at the San Bruno station for free and rode Bart downtown to see Wicked. May very well be doing that again in a few weeks. I think we're headed up that way for my birthday.

It's cool that Sullivan got to "come out and play."
I'm glad that Jess found you and all of you found Jean. JMF is a good, friendly group of girls (& guy!).
