Great to read as always. I heartily agree about the time improving the band's new attempt. It was so real and fun and great entertainment. We're looking forward to more.

I'm jealous! And I never thought I 'd say this again but Damn I want a GOTR tour. The vids make it clear that this was a very special evening.

So glad you got to go!

Heh! yeah, that would be so cool, though it might take a while, as they all have busy lives, but we can hope! It was definitely a night to remember!

Thanks so much for your report. All of you seem to have such a good time, especially the two Marsters. I'm so glad that he's actively encouraging his son and his friends with their music.

I agree! There were a couple very unenlightened people grumbling about how terrible this was to expose his 14 year old son to performance (obviously forgetting that James himself has been performing since he was 8!), but I think James is very wise and a great father to have done this for his son and his friends. With schools cutting funding to the arts more and more, it falls to the parents to find and nurture talent, and Sullivan has bucket-loads! James told us Sullivan had brought his grades up, and I think this was the reward. I say, good on you James!

Thanks Patti - and its a joy to see the Patti Report again!

So so so jealous, so wanted to be there. Argh! Bloody geography! But super glad you, SJ, Mad Brilliant and Oanimation were to document it for us. And I really agree with you about Dance Slow - sounds wonderful with the full band backing! And Sullivan is a very talented young man and very cool!
