oh congratulations, jamie! this is fantastic news. :) and hopefully it'll be a job you enjoy, and will go somewhere (offer you the chance to go to school at the same time?)
that's awesome~!! *hugs you!* my insurance lady works at CIS but i dunno if it's a worldwide branch for this company. @_@ but hey, still cool! mann that's a lot of money, lucky you. the hours dont seem too bad; get to sleep in a little bit and you get to leave after the rush hour traffic (i'm assuming that rush hour traffic is as bad as ours). is it a long commute for u? will u always hafta be dressed up business-casual? =D
and yay gig!! and laptop! *cheers* yay~~!
and lucky you, no cold calling. i HATE cold calling. *mutters to self*
i imagine it might be, i think theyre a big insurance company.
yeah the hours (and sleep)and pay are great :-) yeah rush hour is appaling at both morning and evening. i dont drive yet unfortunately so itll be bus for me :-/
itll be a 20 minute bus drive into guildford, and then a ten minute bus drive from guildford to artington (which is where the offices are). so not too dissimilar to my journey to college last year.
i assume its gonna be businesslike, if not business casual. im just gonna go full-on businessy until i get told otherwise. ^_^
as for clothing, it's not too bad. I'm firm in my belief that it's easier for guys =P because it's always...suit. yea, so u match the shirt and tie but u think of that when u buy the dress pants and shirts and tie ^_^''
i found out today we can wear what we want on fridays, and kinda business/casual all other days.
tbh, given that my casual clothes is jeans, T shirt and a LOT of black, i might just stick with smart casual all week round. kinda seems more professional.
