I'm Back!

So i have been away from home, LJ and internet for 12 days. What have I been doing, i hear you cry?
Working, sadly.

I have been at the Hindhead Music Centre (a music school about 40 minutes drive from me run by my girlfriend's harp teacher, Ann Hughes-Chamberlain) working as a kitchen helper on the summer school music courses. This basically involved

heyyy welcome back! i was getting a bit worried, regarding the floods and all, because i'm geographically-challenged and dunno where things are other than.."UK". @_@

have fun on the vacation! I've been working ages and eons and it's still ongoing *sidelong glance at biweekly paycheque I got today* and still earning money. NYC! i don't think i've been there. its 9 hours drive away from me hehe! be sure to tell ALLL ABOUT IT (a.k.a take notes and write them back!) hehehe =D

the floods have happily not affected me,
although its been as wet as a bastard all week long.
i'm expected drastic difference in NYC, which, i hear, is bloody boiling at the moment.

dont worry, i will post in great detail about my vacation as soon as i get back :-D

it IS quite hot. where i am it's...30 something degrees. ugh. hot.

but i guess i'm hard to please since....when it's cold..i whine that it's cold. brr. @_@ thinking about our negative 30 degree weather makes me...shiver.
