I don't really mind Adam, it's just that he has a long and convoluted backstory (17th century rogue turned honourable samurai turned cynical hardcase turned 400 year old disillusioned cynical hardcase who wants to destroy the world), of which no part fits the cheeky chappie performance.

I have to admit, though, that I do like Adam. I've always had a soft spot for David Anders.
