Anywho, I don't see the internet as destroying mainstream media, but just changing it, more as a combination of what both television and VHS did to the film business that was comfortable with just theaters. It's resulting in major changes and adaptations, but not obliteration. There will still be a big discrepency between independents and those with large funds for production and marketing.
Oh, and I don't see the wheeler-dealer mentality of Trump as something wrong, it's just different challenges being met. I take it the same as someone being proud of busting out 10 full pages a day or managing 3 or 4 ongoing comic projects at a time.

And deep down I know corporations will make the transition onto the web (at this point they'll have to or die out). TV seems to be doing alright with Hulu and newspapers are making the gradual transition. What I was more criticizing are the CEO's stubbornly refusing to make the transition because it means less millions for them. Also the point I brought up with Trump, the compulsive acquisition of millions. It's that mentality that has led to CEO's who've ground their companies into the earth still getting billion dollar bonuses.
...10 full pages a day? Sheesh, if only right? I heard Kirby used to bust out 6 to 8 completed pencils a day, the mad bastard.
