Picking up randon screws and stuff in the continuing battle to get a working secret latch for the secret passage for leif_henry (a separate topic altogether), I found myself in front of an auto parts store and decided it was high time I fixed the wiper fluid delivery system on my truck

So if I understand correctly, you managed to find a strong enough fan (turbine?) and get it mounted to the hood, connected the fan's power switch to the wiper fluid activation dealie (and I imagine you needed a delay as well, so the fan had time to fully power up) all for 72 cents???

My favorite part was when I took it in for the oil change and the guy insisted I run the wiper fluid so he could see what was wrong with it. I tried to explain that it was really going to jet forward. A lot. But he was hearing none of it and told me to just do it. So I did. Squirting -15 washer fluid in an arc a couple of feet ahead of the truck and right down into the pit in the bay ahead of me, where a man shrieked "Hey! What the hell??".

I felt bad, but it didn't keep me from laughing like mad!
