My mom, Angel, and I went fishing yesterday. We were on a fishing boat that took us out into the sea from Oceanside Harbor. I got the first fish (between the three of us) about 10 minutes after the captain stopped the boat at a certain spot. It was a sandbass, a keeper, but I was too excited to take a picture of that one. BWAHAHAHA Now there's no escaping! Bwahahaha...

Actually fishing is only boring at the beginner level. Once you get into the longer range trips (Did you go on a half day or 3/4 day or full day?), the catching is almost nonstop once the boat drops anchor. It's so exciting. Bloody decks, seasickness in the galley because your too stupid to stare at the horizon, card games between stops, awesome bites, fish that tease, backlashes...it's all just part of the package. Maybe someday you guys'll be able to be on my dad's boat...but I doubt it for a while...his are long range boats. But yeah. Awesome stuff.
