I moved into my dorm on Wednesday. My roommate is pretty nice. He's Vietnamese, but for some reason I don't think his Vietnamese is any better than that of Cat or Christine's. Haha, actually most of the girls aren't back to the dorm yet. Faye came back today, and she's probably the third girl on this floor who's arrived so far. I just thought that girls would be polishing each other's nails and doing each other's hair, I don't know, it's not like I've ever been a girl before.

james, does that mean your room mate can only understand vietnamese? 'cause i'm pretty sure i've told you cat and I can't speak it but we can understand it. and ditto to lyssa's comment. maybe living in the asian dorm wasn't such a good idea if this is what they're all like.

I don't even know if my roommate speaks Vietnamese, let alone understand it. But from what I've observed, he doesn't seem like he's a fluent Vietnamese speaker, but I could be wrong. And I didn't get what you were trying to say about Asian dorm, but do you have a problem with Asians? You only wish you are one!!!

Eat in Crossroads! Should be better food... If not, there's always the Taiwan Restaurant on University near the McDonald's on Shattuck. Good price on weekdays until 4 pm.
