Right okay, so what I want to talk about here is the character Doctor Rank, who in the play is in love with the wife of Torvald and is also terminally ill. I think that the only reason he told Nora that he loved her was because he was going to die soon and nothing worse could happen to him. He just wanted to finally admit to her what he had been feeling all those years.
