I always love the party pictures of Mark, after everybody else has left. Somewhere there has to be one of him humping that stuffed dinosaur.

Your cactus is impressively phallic.

Aluminum poles are not that hard to find. Festivus is not about "close enough." The peanut tossing seems more like a feat of skill, not strength.

Somebody grieved about snakes? Lame. Snakes are amazing.

Stuffed dinosaur?

I'm glad you like the cactus. I should blog about that sometime. It even has a slightly natural curve to it, based on it leaning toward the sun.

Good point about the pole, but Festivus certainly isn't about spending money on decorations. But you have a valid point about the skill versus strength feat. If you have a suggestion for a workaround, let me know.
