So I was talking to my mom today and I found out that this whole thing with my dad is going to trial which means I have the opportunity to testify against him. I am obviously going to do it but it's going to be so emotional for everybody. As far as I know he's going to be representing himself so he will have the opportunity to personally ask me

hmm i'm kind of afraid to ask, because i might not want to know the answer. but what is he on trial for?

It's basically just family court stuff. He violated the protection order several times, one time in which he was arrested, in addition to some other illegal things. We're just trying to make it so he will never be able to come in contact with us in any way ever again.
