This sounds very spooky DDDDDDDDD:

I'm glad you have music and David Copperfield at least. Have I sent you the new 1D single 'Best Song Ever' yet, btw???? I'm very into it at the moment and can't stop singing it all the time!

It was very spooky! I was absolutely freaked out at one point - especially when I could hear someone walking up and down the corridor at night O_O! (It turned out to be the lady from the reception, who seems to have been patrolling the building ... but yeah O_O! My imagination was going into overdrive D:)

Thank God David Copperfield isn't quite as spooky as Great Expectations xD! And no you haven't! What's this??? :D It sounds awesome! :DDD

Scaaaary ... You didn't mention if the electricity is back on now (I sure hope it is) or if you had to go elsewhere to finally get a connection again.

Oh, and thanks for mentioning music in combination with power outings - that way I remembered I wanted to recharge my mp3 player! ;0)

Oooops, sorry! xD Yes, it's back on, thankfully! There's light again :D! Thank God!

xD Haha! I'm glad to have been of some use then xD! Hope you're getting onto that right now :P!

I'm glad to hear you survived the experience okay, that can't have been fun.

I'm impressed by the Austrian power grid, though, that you've never been through a power cut before. They're not a common occurrence here, but one every couple of years on average is fairly normal.

It wasn't fun, no ... I was quite scared at one point ;_;. But, at the same time ... I have to admit, a tiny part of me enjoys experiences like that, too. It's something new, almost like an adventure ... I know, I must sound quite weird xD!

Well, I can't swear by it but ... I honestly can't remember a single time that we've had a power outage ... maybe it was so scary that I'm my mind's refusing to remember it though xD! Certainly nothing on a major scale in any case, I think :).

Not weird at all, there are plenty of experiences I've had that were scary at the time, but looking back were also exciting and helped me cope better in future.

Being a child of the 1970s, when there were power cuts because energy prices went through the roof, I have quite clear memories of crawling up the stairs in the dark to find the candles - no laptops or phones for light in those days. :-)

:D That's exactly what I was thinking!

OH! And now you've reminded me! I DO remember one time that we didn't have electricity - it was during a really bad thunderstorm (I believe there was flooding afterwards!) and all of a sudden everything went dark, and we had to get the candles out, like you said! xD I must've been eight or something ... I think!

But climbing up stairs in the dark doesn't sound like much fun either!! I hope you didn't hurt yourself or anything! D:
