Shakespeare always seems to make more sense if read in its entirety than in excerpts. Like translating something, it's easier to get the gist from a whole sentence than just a few words, haha.

You're right, of course :). I think because you go in with the expectation that you're not going to understand anything, it's all the harder to read in the beginning - and all the more surprising when you do begin to understand later on!

And amen to translating - I've been studying Chinese for the last couple of years, and when I get hung up on individual words stuff doesn't make sense AT ALL!

Oh gosh, Chinese kicked my butt. I took it for a year and can only say hello and goodbye now. I remember being completely stumped by half the rules, but it was good fun.

It's difficult! And even after five years I still feel like I'm barely able to go shopping xD! Such a difficult language! (Even if the characters ARE beautiful!)
