No Fear Shakespear, what an interesting site. I thought it was just to update words and grammar but I went to "Much Ado About Nothing" and found out they have explained the jokes, too:

Shakespear:
BENEDICK
Were you in doubt, sir, that you asked her?
LEONATO
Signor Benedick, no, for then were you a child.

No Fear Shakespear:
BENEDICK
Did you doubt that she was your daughter, since you had to ask her mother?
LEONATO
(teasing) Of course not, Signior Benedick. You were only a child when my daughter was born, and not yet old enough to seduce my wife.

Fun read indeed! :D

Haha, I know - they've tried to make it really accessible to students, I suppose. The translations aren't quite as poetic as the original, but way easier to understand (and fun! xD)

Yay for having a kitchen! Sorry, I somehow missed the fact that you were kitchen-less for a while. I can imagine that must have sucked!

I keep thinking I should read Othello, but it always sounds quite frustrating. Is Iago fun at least?

Lol @ No Fear Shakespeare. I need to check it out. It reminds me a bit of the xkcd guy's attempt to explain things with the 1000 most used works only. Or simple Wikipedia.

xD I only complained about it last week, when we had no access to it for 3-4 days (can't remember all the horror ...)

Iago is ... interesting. He's a proper little vengeful douchebag :D If you have the time and would like to read some Shakespeare I do recommend reading it - if only for the language ;)!

I'm not sure if I know that guy ... he does sound familiar ... is he on youtube?
