I finally talked to Hank Bart and will be pursuing independent research in his lab this semester.
I want to make it a 3-credit pursuit.
However, when I reviewed my schedule today, I realized that the 3 credits would only give me a total of 16.

I need 17 to graduate.

So do I do less independent work  (which is excellent for graduate school) and add

Hm. Is there any way to ask this person about the extra credit? He might be able to offer you a solution (I learned that professors can pull a lot more strings than I originally thought, through my college career...)

Go talk to your advisor. Last-semester seniors can take a 1-credit drama thing where they help sew costumes or do props for a play at the end of the semester. Do you have Joan Kay? 'Cause she rocks.
