I went to Cinema Cafe last night with three girlfriends from my mom's group. We saw Public Enemies. I've never been the type to really lust after Johnny Depp, but he was really, really sexy in this movie. I enjoyed it. A lot

I'm so glad he's doin better! did you stop breastfeeding or are you still trying to do both? I was curious NOT JUDGEMENTAL. lord knows LP was formula fed after 12 weeks and we just started OFF bad, he was healthy as a horse. I just wanted to know because i cheer you on either way :D
I'm still nursing him some, but I don't think it's going to last much longer. He now much prefers the bottle, and fusses about nursing unless he's really sleepy. My supply has dropped a ton... I pumped the other night and got less than an ounce total after 20 minutes. :(
you did your best and pumping relaly really really sucks. i did it for 3 months with LP and it was HARD. and I was getting an ounce at a time. and I know now that it's just that you don't respond well to a pump and it takes a lot of galactagues or whatever to make you pump enough for your kid unless you have oversupply basically. anyways SOME is better than none, but it gets to be a point where for your mental sake it's just not. at least that's the point I hit. i think that if I had convinced myself that formula wasn't the devil and just gave him even an ounce of breastmilk a day I would have been ok, but I was of the mindset that it was PASS OR FAIL and there was no inbetween...
Yeah, I pumped after almost every nursing session for Ezra's first three months. I used to get about 2 oz per session, but now that formula has been introduced, my supply has taken a nose-dive. :(
I've only been to one (this morning) which was St. John the Apostle. I heard from a mom friend that they have a new priest, who is really kid-friendly, but of course he had other engagements this morning and their was another priest filling in. I've also heard good things about Church of the Ascension.
There are at least 10 churches that I know of in Virginia Beach, so I'm just going to hop around and see where I'm comfortable. :)
Isn't it such a relief when they start gaining properly! Chloe became a lot easier when she beefed up a bit also, and her reflux seemed to ease off a bit over time (with the help of zantac of course :P).

It's about time! You've had a rough first 12 weeks, so it's time he became a bit easier to manage! :-)
