As I was driving to pick up my pizza, I came up upon a crowd of people in the road. As I slowed down I realized that there was a man lying unconscious in the road. about a year ago, i was driving around the back roads of baldwin park, and we saw a guy lying in some bushes, his wrecked motorcycle across the street. we called 911, and watched as ambulances pulled up and the emts started cpr. and we saw him die.

i read in the paper the next day that the kid was actually a kid. he was 19. and the guy who hit him ran, and was later found and arrested. he had cocaine in the car, and a warrant out for his arrest.

he was only 19, too. it was the worst experience of my life, and my brother was riding a bike around at the time. how horrifying.
