violet is already in the beginning part of her third month. she's become aware of her hands and bats at/clutches her toys for dear life. she uses her voice a lot. we're even 90% sure she's teething already. my little booger is growing up so fast :(

i pulled some major muscle in my back while putting violet on her changing table. a motion i've done a thousand times. so i've spent most of the weekend on a heating pad and now i've got one of those belts you strap around your back/abs. sexy. jons been helping out a ton 'cause i'm really not able to pick her up. i can hold her if she's handed to me (most of the time) but it's really hard to not be able to just grab her or bend down to lay her on the bed. i'm really hoping it feels a lot better tomorrow while i'm alone when jon's at work. if not i'll just work through it. ouch.
