Last night, one of the most important people in my life along with two other good friends, was involved in a hate crime on 9th Avenue in New York City. I wish I could be there... sadly I live in South Dakota and that's a bit of a drive. I've been out of my own sparkly closet since 2004. Most of what I've faced has just been plain stupidity... Like asking beyond retarted questions. "did your boyfriend make you a lesbian" (i'm a woman) "were you always a lesbian" or, my personal fav "aren't women lesbians, not gays" O_o eh... ok, that's like saying that woman can't be doctors and men can't be nurses... anyways... March proudly friend, and my thoughts will be with you all the way.
