Well now you've made me doubt it! Here I was, blindly accepting that it was a waistcoat... it must be, right? He couldn't NOT wear a waistcoat with that hat. Also loving the random globe. What do you think he's strumming along to?
I know what you mean, sometimes it's so long between updates that I lose interest. That's why I loved passion and profession, every Friday like clockwork. Ah the good old days! Oh Pia Fidelis. That fic has mesmerised me. I like ure mildly threatening tone :)
I don't really like wips either - I have been disappointed one time too often, but I usually cannot resist starting a new one anyway. When I first get into a fandom I get so excited that I can't help it: I HAVE TO READ EVERYTHING. And then later, when I've read most of the stories that have been written and new fics are posted less frequently... well I can't help it: I HAVE TO READ EVERYTHING THERE IS. However, when RL is busy, I try to stick to only wips by authors I know and trust.
Petting Teacher was amazing, wasn't it? I haven't stopped rereading it. And I am confident All bets are off will be completed - to my knowledge the author has never failed to finish a wip.
ALSO: JAAAAMMMIEEEE. GOD. THIS DOES NOT HELP MY FETISH FOR HATS AND GUITARS. AT ALL.
I am going to try and be strong and keep away from the wips! This is my first fandom so did not know until now the heartbreak of an abandoned wip. Damn you college fic, I'm still not over you!
Ah, you have insider knowledge regarding all bets are off, I like! It's really hot and dirty :)
Good luck on that! ;) I am still bummed about the college fic as well, although I should have learned my lesson back when I first got into Trek fandom and starting reading this epic 100,000 + words Kirk/Spock story that the author stopped updating when she only had one or two chapters left to write DD: (I am still desperately holding on to the hope that maybe one day she will feel inspired again and decide to return to complete it)
YOU GET DRUNK. YOU HIT ON ME. THEN YOU NEVER WRITE, YOU NEVER CALL. Man, I know what you mean, it's quite difficult to stay away from WIPs though since the fandom is like based on them. But most of them are getting regularly updated!
I do. You left me in a cold bed, with a fiver on the table. Any girl would feel cheap! I WILL BECAUSE THAT'S HOW IT STARTS. I JUST DROP MY KNICKERS EVERYTIME.
Yeah, fuck. That fic. It's better than Good Omens. Like I actually enjoy it more. It's awesome.
