So I spent the last hour talking to insurance and billing representatives from the various agencies involved in me getting treatment for that skin problem I had back in March. Turns out my insurance company lost some information somewhere and denied the claim. So the hospital sent me a bill for $280. TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DOLLARS! and the jerk

I got ridiculous bills when I had my car accident a few years ago. We paid the hospital bill, since there was an ambulance and everything; but we refused to pay the doctor's bill since all he did was make sure my legs weren't broken (duh! I was walking before I got there!) and that was about it. He told me to take advil and come back if there was any really bad pain. So he charged us some exorbitant amount and we basically said "Fuck you, man
