The weakerthans show last night rocked my ass! I think John K Samson's twin brother is Dave Foley....

who'd they play with? what songs??

They played with despasito and the high strung who I missed because I got there late. The set list was good, everything I had to hear ( aside, confessions of a futon-rev,left and leaving,watermark,plea from a cat named virtue, etc) but nothing too surprizing. Like anything off fallow that wasn't "confessions..". Half the set was reconstruction site songs and one new one that was really good. Best show i've seen in a long time and thank you so much for burning those wonderfull albums for me!

i really wish i could have went, but i ended up falling asleep early on before the show, thinking i would have been fine. however, i was NOT fine and slept straight through the entire thing. and i could have WALKED to the hi-tone to go to the show too. guess i was too tuckered out from going to the holly golightly show the previous night.
