He'd scrunch his nose together before going back into the fridge for something to cool it off at least a little bit. He'd push up the brim of his glasses before walking into the living room, only seeign Buffy out of the corner of his eye. He glanced over to her and burrowed his brows together::Buffy?::No response. He sighed a bit and shook his head before taking a step towards her, placing a hand on her shouldr giving her a slight shake. Nothing. He sighed again, his other hand still gripping the cup of coffee.::Another Apocolypse you say?::He glanced over to her. Awake, but not fully now.::Knew that'd work..::He'd mutter to himself a bit proudly before beginnign to clean up the game of goldfish that was going on the other night. He picked up a hand of cards and looked at it raising his brows::I won...hmm...::He continued to pick up the cards before glancing over to her yet agaib::Long night?::He didn't knwo where she was or what she was doign last night::
-Buffy-:: She'd slept through..well, everything. Andrew's famous arguments over who the best Bond was, Anya and Xander's constant bickering...all of it. That is, until Giles mentioned the word 'apocalypse'. Her eyes opened slowly. It had taken a while to adjust to the light. Her first thought was 'am I dead yet?' Yep. She was hungover. It took a few moments before she became fully awake. She glanced over at Giles, still not bothering to move at first. "You have no idea." She sighed a bit, looking at him.::
-Giles-::He sat down on a chair that was used in the game and took a sip of his coffe. You're probably wondering, 'Giles! No Coffee! You have to drink tea!'. But, as he said once before, Coffee was used for wakign up. Tea made him mellow.::I spent...4 hours listening to Andrew rave on about that..blasted Sean Connery. Than, 2 hours with Dawn helping her with Biology, 4 hours researching this sodden demon, and my last 6 conscience hours were spent at the mall with Willow, Anya and Xander...half the time getting poked fun of by Anya becouse of a yellow sweater that I was going to buy Dawn for her birthday, but she kept saying 'She'd look liek a pudgy little tulip that had gone horribly wrong'....If you can beat that than I shall give you a cookie.
-Buffy-:: Her eyes widened a bit as Giles gave her the overview of his night. She had to say, she actually felt sorry for him. Four hours listening to Andrew...she couldn't even put up with him for five minutes. The mall part took her a bit by surprise. She didn't think Giles even knew what a mall was for. And she couldn't help but laugh as he added the part about Anya. She let out another sigh after he'd finished. "And I stand corrected." She leaned back, resting her back against the couch, still looking over to Giles. She really didn't want to tell him about her night. He'd insist on lecturing her about how drinking was bad. But on the other hand, a cookie was sounding pretty good right about now. "I...kinda..got drunk. With Spike." He'd figure it out sooner or later anyways. She looked at him, with a guilty sort of _expression. "Do I win?" She added a bit of sarcasm to it, to try and make things seem all the more innocent, but she knew she couldn't get around it that easily.::
-Giles-::He looked over to her, lookgin away for a second as she revieled how she spent her night. a slightly dissapointed look came over his expression...He knew she was prepared to get yelled at or 'lectured'. But he was done with that now.::I'm not going to say I'm happy with the idea of you getting drunk...or the idea that it happened with Spike...but I'm not goign to say anything to you that you don't already know. You told me...I've taught you everything you need to know. So I don't think you need, or even want my opinion on this subject.::He's give her a quaint smirk::You're grown up now.::Rising to his feet he'd slowley begin to exit the room. He turned aroudn to her::Oh, and Buffy...No. You didn't win. I expect my cookie. A large one.::He looked at her expression::Can't win everything.::He smirked again and walked out of the room takign another sip of coffee::
Buffy:: That guilty expression didn't completely go away, but she was relieved that Giles wasn't planning on yelling at her. She knew he was disappointed though. Drinking, and Spike, both bad things according to Giles. She glanced away from him after he'd stood up to leave the room, looking back at him after he stopped. She pouted a bit after he mentioned the fact that she wouldn't be getting a cookie. She sat there for a few moments, before finally making an attempt to stand up. It really wasn't easy at first. Head rush, along with much dizzyness, but it lessened eventually. She followed Giles out of the room, stopping him before he'd gotten too far. "But there's more. There were demons, and...and plague." She gave him a look, hoping he'd buy it, but no such luck. She sighed and glanced downwards, before turning back to him. "And Dawn doesn't wear yellow." She smirked, backing up the point Anya had made before about the tulip.::
-Giles-::He'd turn around to her. Glancing down at her, his brow raised a btit more as she tried to make up stories. It was his cookie. he diserved it.::Do...you even know what plague means...?::He was being serious, though sarcastic. He was aboutto turn around again, but turned back as she made her comment. He scoffed a bit::I jsut don't see what's wrong with yellow!::He loked back to her, seeing that she was just trying to get him liek that.::I really don't understand what's so funny about torturing your watcher. You're suppost to have this..whole well of respect...::He sighed a bit and shook his head turnign around::Why do I keep comign back...?::He said this a bit to himself, but it was noticably heard::

-Giles-::Coffee...must have cofee. He poured himslef a large cup full of the dark brown substanse, taking a sip and sputtering some back into the sink. It was very hot and bland. He'd scrunch his nose together before going back into the fridge for something to cool it off at least a little bit. He'd push up the brim of his glasses before walking into the living room, only seeign Buffy out of the corner of his eye. He glanced over to her and burrowed his brows together::Buffy?::No response. He sighed a bit and shook his head before taking a step towards her, placing a hand on her shouldr giving her a slight shake. Nothing. He sighed again, his other hand still gripping the cup of coffee.::Another Apocolypse you say?::He glanced over to her. Awake, but not fully now.::Knew that'd work..::He'd mutter to himself a bit proudly before beginnign to clean up the game of goldfish that was going on the other night. He picked up a hand of cards and looked at it raising his brows::I won...hmm...::He continued to pick up the cards before glancing over to her yet agaib::Long night?::He didn't knwo where she was or what she was doign last night::
-Buffy-:: She'd slept through..well, everything. Andrew's famous arguments over who the best Bond was, Anya and Xander's constant bickering...all of it. That is, until Giles mentioned the word 'apocalypse'. Her eyes opened slowly. It had taken a while to adjust to the light. Her first thought was 'am I dead yet?' Yep. She was hungover. It took a few moments before she became fully awake. She glanced over at Giles, still not bothering to move at first. "You have no idea." She sighed a bit, looking at him.::
-Giles-::He sat down on a chair that was used in the game and took a sip of his coffe. You're probably wondering, 'Giles! No Coffee! You have to drink tea!'. But, as he said once before, Coffee was used for wakign up. Tea made him mellow.::I spent...4 hours listening to Andrew rave on about that..blasted Sean Connery. Than, 2 hours with Dawn helping her with Biology, 4 hours researching this sodden demon, and my last 6 conscience hours were spent at the mall with Willow, Anya and Xander...half the time getting poked fun of by Anya becouse of a yellow sweater that I was going to buy Dawn for her birthday, but she kept saying 'She'd look liek a pudgy little tulip that had gone horribly wrong'....If you can beat that than I shall give you a cookie.
-Buffy-:: Her eyes widened a bit as Giles gave her the overview of his night. She had to say, she actually felt sorry for him. Four hours listening to Andrew...she couldn't even put up with him for five minutes. The mall part took her a bit by surprise. She didn't think Giles even knew what a mall was for. And she couldn't help but laugh as he added the part about Anya. She let out another sigh after he'd finished. "And I stand corrected." She leaned back, resting her back against the couch, still looking over to Giles. She really didn't want to tell him about her night. He'd insist on lecturing her about how drinking was bad. But on the other hand, a cookie was sounding pretty good right about now. "I...kinda..got drunk. With Spike." He'd figure it out sooner or later anyways. She looked at him, with a guilty sort of _expression. "Do I win?" She added a bit of sarcasm to it, to try and make things seem all the more innocent, but she knew she couldn't get around it that easily.::
-Giles-::He looked over to her, lookgin away for a second as she revieled how she spent her night. a slightly dissapointed look came over his expression...He knew she was prepared to get yelled at or 'lectured'. But he was done with that now.::I'm not going to say I'm happy with the idea of you getting drunk...or the idea that it happened with Spike...but I'm not goign to say anything to you that you don't already know. You told me...I've taught you everything you need to know. So I don't think you need, or even want my opinion on this subject.::He's give her a quaint smirk::You're grown up now.::Rising to his feet he'd slowley begin to exit the room. He turned aroudn to her::Oh, and Buffy...No. You didn't win. I expect my cookie. A large one.::He looked at her expression::Can't win everything.::He smirked again and walked out of the room takign another sip of coffee::
Buffy:: That guilty expression didn't completely go away, but she was relieved that Giles wasn't planning on yelling at her. She knew he was disappointed though. Drinking, and Spike, both bad things according to Giles. She glanced away from him after he'd stood up to leave the room, looking back at him after he stopped. She pouted a bit after he mentioned the fact that she wouldn't be getting a cookie. She sat there for a few moments, before finally making an attempt to stand up. It really wasn't easy at first. Head rush, along with much dizzyness, but it lessened eventually. She followed Giles out of the room, stopping him before he'd gotten too far. "But there's more. There were demons, and...and plague." She gave him a look, hoping he'd buy it, but no such luck. She sighed and glanced downwards, before turning back to him. "And Dawn doesn't wear yellow." She smirked, backing up the point Anya had made before about the tulip.::
-Giles-::He'd turn around to her. Glancing down at her, his brow raised a btit more as she tried to make up stories. It was his cookie. he diserved it.::Do...you even know what plague means...?::He was being serious, though sarcastic. He was aboutto turn around again, but turned back as she made her comment. He scoffed a bit::I jsut don't see what's wrong with yellow!::He loked back to her, seeing that she was just trying to get him liek that.::I really don't understand what's so funny about torturing your watcher. Buffy:: She kept her eyes on him, a bit amused by his coming to defend the yellow. She was trying now to hold back the laughter. After he'd turned around again, she heard his last comment. She knew he didn't expect her to answer, but she felt she would anyways. "The Hellmouth just loves you that way, Giles." She kept up with the sarcasm. But she had a point. It seemed like usually, when people left, they wouldn't stay gone for long. They always came back eventually. She looked back at him.::
