2) Livejournal seems to be forming a daisy chain of those whose lives have been touched by this person. There's me, ropenmind, happyjenny, and others, various and sundry, who've been named in a variety of posts and journals.
The second one is the real point to this comment. However, I would also like to add that this person's last few reality checks all bounced. Seriously. She tells tales like she's Baron von Munchausen or something, and from what I gather from speaking to other people whose lives she's touched in one way or another, she's a grifter - the only predatory parasite known to man. Sizes up a mark and starts working her magic, knows all the right words and the good stories, and as soon as she's exhausted one option...

for the record, i had no clue what aspberger's was and i wasn't trying to make fun of it. here's a little back story. i was introduced to "this person" from a website i read. the assplosion that led up to this post started HERE. she's not well liked so the thread turned into a bit of a flame war. that's when the cute little kids from that site started doing some online sluething and found the fat pic. i guess i got caught up in the fun and found a post she made somewhere that said she had aspbergers. so i looked up aspbergers and took the description and bolded the characteristics she's displayed in the forums. it started as just bolding that people with aspbergers like certain foods because i was going for the cheap fat joke. anyway we haven't seen her since the fat pics were posted and i guess now her journal is gone too but any more stories you have about her i'd love to hear them. here's her forum over on that site if you want to read more

i thought her OMG HOTT lj icon looked like admiral ackbar so i put the two of them up there with a marquee tag so it looks like they are racing to get the shrimp snacks but the fat pic always wins because it is the hungriest. i understand explaining the joke makes it less funny but this entry was only suposed to be an in-joke to a few people and it was completely misunderstood by people with ASS BURGERS so yeah i guess what i'm saying is i think marquee tags are funny

BTW, no offence taken from your post, I realise you weren't trying to make fun of anyone. I was just explaining things as fully as possible, maybe trying to shed some light on things. We really should do a proper survey of Fark, Slashdot, LJ, POE News etc. and have a night in playing the Kevin Bacon Game with the results...
Marquee tags = funny. Abuse of blink tags = funnier. Combine the two, and most bulletin board admins will only warn you once ;-)
