As many of you probably know, I've been trying to find something to do to get me out of the house on a fairly regular basis. So far, my plans haven't really worked all that well

It never occurred to me that you were and SCA person. I have not participated, but I have several lovely friends who are active in the Midrealm.

Among them are purplebard, aztecknight and amorsalado to name a few...

I'd be happy to introduce you and possibly get you touch with more SCA folk from your realm.

Yep, was active in the SCA between '92 and '95. Then sort of fell out of it. Looking to get back into it now. Acquiring bit of armor as I can, so I can get back into heavy fighting.

If all goes well, it should be a major source of socialization.

Well, looks like the work trip put the kibosh on this month's dance practice. Guess I get to go to England instead. Which isn't terrible, but isn't exactly what I had in mind either.
