If you are not sure about her because of this one difference of opinion. Simply don't have sex till you're sure about each other. Then bring up the topic again.

I know I'm probably over simplifying the issue but you know me I like to keep it as simple as possible.

Ummm, bringing the issue up after having already had sex is probably not the best time. Since in order to have had sex, we'd have not used contraception.

We haven't, and aren't going to... lack of contraception would result (almost certainly) in another child for me. My track record so far when a woman is not on contraception is nigh on 100% fertilization. So, in short, no contraception, no sex.
