What is this need I feel? Why can't I stop thinking about a relationship? Someone to hold, someone to care about, someone to care about me. I need to let go of this need, stifle this desire

I was feeling the exact opposite when I "retired". I was sick to death of wanting a relationship and I needed to shut those thoughts out of my head.

I love the idea of going out and photographing whatever you want. You have a Canon S5 IS, right? Learn to use the macro lens feature and pick some tiny things to photograph.

I even did a project last year where I photographed the same trees over a period of weeks in mid-Autumn.

Yep, they replaced my defunct Powershot S1 IS with the Powershot S5 IS, can't really bitch about that. Not that I need something more to bitch about.

My best guess is you are missing that.

I think its awesome taking pictures, but then again i'm a photographer.
