Broke the news to the family today that I'm once again looking at selling the house. I've frankly over-extended myself quite a bit with this place. You cannot please anyone else 100% of the time and so, do what you must do to take care of you at least as hard as you take care of everyone around you. I respect you for choosing to care for your mom. It's admirable and cute in an old-fashioned kind of way. Perhaps a woman who dates you would also come to that conclusion when it was brought up.
Honestly, I suggest against bankruptcy. If you can sell the house and get sufficient value out of it to be better off financially buying smaller or renting, I would suggest that route be explored to the fullest first.
honestly, hun, you've given so much of yourself, your time, love, money and heart to everything you've been through for the past two years. Watching the love of your life leave this world should be the pinnacle and end of your pain for a while. Please, seek for your happiness. Do it for you- for your daughter.

if my memory serves your sister is supposed to be paying rent, and isn't. I don't know what the story with your mom is. I'd want out of it too, to a point they are being a rather large burden for you as you are also paying all Utilities and food. Your sister shouldn't be freeloading.
do what's best for you in the long term. Do what feels right.
