Here's a tip about the F Chord: There's a bastardized version that's easier to play and sounds fine. It's what I always play. Play it just like it is, but don't worry about the low or high E. Only play everything in between. Because it's that top and bottom string that make it so hard. If you can, when pressing the A string with your pinky, allow the pinky to touch the low E, but not press it. This will mute it. Work on that, and see how it sounds. It should be fine. I used to play that song a lot, and it always sounded fine with the bastardized F.
