It's kind of sad, september 11th has been commercialized. Badly. I mean they even call it "9/11". I think it's also called Patriot day or something like that? Everytime I see an infomercial for those commemorative coins I wanna vomit. I watched a documentary last night on the history channel that gave me chills, it brought me back to that day like

i managed to avoid any rescue me references in the entry but when it comes to those lights I always think of the episode in season 2 when the crew is walking back from a bar and they see the lights and the chief goes "They should've just left it the way it was, just empty like those bastards left it that day." And yeah the entire thing is really eerie whenever you get really serious reminders. I went to the New York State Museum in Albany and I don't know if you saw the pictures on facebook but they have an actual fire truck (engine 6) that was like partially burnt and partially crushed on display, a TON of stuff from the recovery efforts on staten island and in fishkills, newspapers from the next day, and they even had parts of the 747 Jets that crashed into the towers that they found at ground zero

This was the most amazing post you have ever written. I completely 100 percent agree.
You form thoughts and sentences really well when you are passionate about something. It makes me jealous that I can't write anymore or really don't focus enough on what I have to say.
And you are absolutely correct in your opinion, although they say opinions can't be true or false. You just are.

jamo that was the best thing i ever read. obviously you know i agree with everything you wrote, but man, it was sweet. thanks for posting it too. i did nothing at all to remember september 11th except i drew little towers in my notebook, and this helped me realize the bravery we saw and the mess created afterwards by our government. much love jamo.
