Sure, Jamie, there's freedom from parents... but that's replaced by the burden of many hours of employment and financial responsibility. Your free time is nill, especially when attending school. And if you fuck something up with that and miss a payment or something, you get far worse than a scolding by your mom.
School would be so much easier for me if I didn't have to work so much and worry about money every frickin minute. I'd glady switch places with you and have mom throw some chicken around... and buy me a new car.
