Kind of a lazy day today. Wandered around the yards, just looking at everything. Smelled the lilacs. Pulled a few weeds around the Peony bush and tied it up. It's in a tomato cage, but some new branches always escape. There are lots of small buds. It's on the west side of the back yard. Many years ago my neighbor to the east had a Peony that ( Read more... )

I'm happy to explain, Wilhelmina. My son Steve (who will be 50 in July) has myotonic muscular dystrophy. Simply, it's when his muscles slowly stop working. He uses a special machine that gives him oxygen when he sleeps. It was the doctor that monitors his breathing functions that we saw on Monday. Steve lives by himself in an apartment house. Great pictures, the pansies are really cute. That vine looks like what we call Virginia Creeper and there is a lot around here. I haven't put out any annuals yet, hope to soon. It's so easy to feel the presence of God in Nature. Blessings to you :)

Thank you. One of the apple seeds sprouted and I'm so excited! It will stay upstairs in the grow room for now. I've no idea how long it takes an apple tree to grow from seed. I'm thinking many, many years!
