Chapter 6
Kei carefully removed the hands on her waist without waking the guy next to her. She can’t remember anything that happened last night; she could only remember the strong arms enveloped her after losing consciousness. She stood from the bed; picking her clothes one by one and carefully dressed again she left the guy glancing at him for the last time and left the room.
“Now what? I have my wallet but it’s not enough for a taxi…..wait I should call Chii” she dig her phone but she can’t find it. She thought that she loss it last night. The only alternative is to find the nearest pay phone.
“Hello Chii it m-“she didn’t finish talking when a hysterical voice came from the other line. Her over protected best friend is in her nagging mother mode.
“Inoo Kei! Where the hell are you?! I’ve been calling you since last! Don’t you how worried I am?! I was already thinking to have a search and rescue for you! Gosh! How could you be so irresponsible?!”
“Chii! Chii! Listen to me! Can you pick me here at Y Tower? You can shout at me later”
“Why are you there? Who’s with you?! Of all the places why in Yabu’s Hotel?” The Yabus is family friend of the Chinens but the second son always teases our little squirrel every time they meet during their childhood and it made Chinen dislike that person.
“Chii!!! Stop it and pick me up I’ll explain later I’m only using payphone, Bye” Kei released a heavy sight, she know this could be a long day for explanations.
Never did it come in her wildest imagination that this could possibly happen to her. She thought that TV programs exaggerate things just to please the viewers but now maybe some things really do occur.
“Now young lady what the hell did you do last night and end up here?!” Chinen”s been calling here since last night coz someone saw Kei with a guy left the pub. And the fact that Kei was not answering her phone, she felt weird and worried.
“Will you please come down; I still have my hang over you know.”
“You want me to calm down after making me worried for the whole night?!”
“Okay listen up, I got really drunk last and some random guy help me” she skip the fact she slept with a stranger, Chinen would be in rage if she’ll know of her irresponsibility.
“You should be more careful, what if that guy was a rapist?! Smuggler? Killer? Or worst a psychopath?!”
“Relax……..I’m here no harm done so let’s go now” Kei doesn’t want to prolong the argument with her bestfriend so she grabbed her inside the car.
“Fine, this place gives me creep.”
A month passed and everything was back to normal except for the part that Yuya and Kei are no longer a couple and her ex-boyfriend is not dating somebody else in that short span of time. It was a typical school day for our heroin when a phone ring recognizing the number in her phone screen.
“You left me without a word that morning but don’t think everything is over between us babe.” She could imagine that evil grin from the guy she never forgets.
“How did you know my number?! I should have guest you’re the one who took my phone” Kei was terrified with the fact that the guys already know who she is now; her peaceful life would be ruined again.
“Look babe, I wasn’t my fault you were drunk, then you GAVE your phone telling me to call someone named Chinen”
“What do you want? It’s just a one night stand, no big deal. You can do everything you want I don’t care so please stop calling me, BYE.” Kei was scared that if someone else would know about what happened especially her BFF and dad, she’s a dead meat for sure.
“Not so fast babe,” and a hand seize her arm back facing the man she wouldn’t dream to meet again
“Will you please let me go? I have nothing to do you. What do you want?!” shocked to see the man face to face, she wished to GOD for her to vanish on that instance.
“What do I WANT? I WANT ONLY YOU KEI INOO” pulling her to his warm embrace and mouth capturing her own, Kei was caught off guard.
