CHAPTER 14
The sun is shining brightly. Dark clouds were gone. There's no trace of the past night's storm except for wet pavements and trees outside. As for Kei, she's happy. That the person she still loves, loves her back. She knows it's unfair but she can't take it any longer.
"Good morning love" a husky voice beside her stopped her from spacing out.
"Yuya! I thought I was just dreaming." She hugs the guy tightly not minding they are both naked underneath that thin white blanket.
"How can I leave if my heart if it is here with you".
"Baka, you're such a sweet talker" she lied down on his chest. She was afraid of this sweet moment to disappear.
"Ne, Yuya is this really okay".
"What?
"I mean this. How can we tell the people around us? This is too complicated. We're hurting a lot of people because of our selfish act." Now Kei feels guilty. She doesn't know where to start especially to Yabu. Everything that have happened it's so unfair for him. She promised him but in one kiss everything they have planned is going to change.
"Kei look at me" Yuya placed his gentle fingers to lift her chin so they are eye to eye.
"Look at me, do you love me?”
"Yes, I love you Yuya". A heart never lies.
"Then together we can make this work. Trust me that we can make it work this time".
"Yes" Kei is too move by Yuya. She wants to be with this guy. She knows she loves him that much to gamble everything for their unknown future together. Not knowing a sorrowed heart heard their conversation. Yabu was so worried because Kei was alone. He wants to go but the typhoon was too strong. He couldn't sleep last night. By morning when news said it was already safe to travel. He flew to his car and directly drives to Kei. He had an extra Key to their shared apartment. His heart was throbbing hearing that voice. And when he peeks on the door he saw to people kissing proclaiming their love to one another. It hurts so much to hear from the person he loves so much that she loves someone else. He wants to burst with so much pain. He felt betrayed. He can't take it anymore. He went out from the apartment to his car, where he releases all his emotions.
"Even though how much I show my love to you Kei, I can't have you because from the start your heart belongs to someone else." He went home, thinking what would happen to them. He sent her a message.
“Hi kei, are you alright? Can we talk?" And there it goes the first step that would change their lives forever.
