Oh holy crap, I am so glad I clicked this link! I am so tired of clicking around to different "cunchy momma" blogs only to find people that are very xian! I, too, am an athiest, but am ALSO a crunchy momma! I swear it is possible!

I found your lj from a link my friend gave me to instructions on how to make slings (I want to make a silk ring sling for my l.o. and if I'm successful (having a baby who nurses every 45 minutes really puts a dent in one's sewing hobby) & one of my best friends is having a baby in Sept and i'd love to make one for her as a gift because she doesn't have a lot of pretty things.

I'm very left wing liberal, I make my run of the mill mid line democrat parents look like Rush Limbaugh (and my inlaws are even MORE left of me which is kinda scary and amusing all at once).
