New glasses!

Here I am in my new glasses with progressive lenses so I can stop squinting at menus without having to remember my reading glasses.

Very stylish! I'll be interested to know how well you do with the progressive lenses--I found them unpleasant enough to send me back to the reading glasses.....

So far, I like the lenses. I don't notice the progressiveness most of the time and yet reading is easier and I no longer have to move stuff farther away to read ingredient lists or instructions on spray paint cans. I notice that I'm not used to turning my head down to see the ground (and, say, dog poop I need to pick up) and that I need to keep my head level while walking, but I expect I will adapt just fine. A lot easier to cope with than remembering my reading glasses all the time.
