For Xmas I got what I guess is called a "religious thriller"[1]. (over)Written by an American author it has me pausing to laugh or wince every few pages. The author is described in one of the blurbs on the inside as being "part Tom Clancy, part Dan Brown", which should tell you something, but actually says very little - thanks James O. Born,
