Grrr, I just spent about 1.5 hours making an awesome power point slide that illustrates why it is important to include both within and between subject variability when doing group fMRI BUT when I tried practicing that part of my talk with the slide included it seemed out of place and unnecessary

ok, you are already practicing your talk, and your practice talk isn't til next week and your job interview isn't until a week after that. That is *not* dumb.

See, I would have stayed up late the night before making that slide, and then realized during the talk that it wasn't working.
