The best cat ever

I'm really sad to report that Billy passed away this evening. He had been having a really tough time the last few weeks and he was barely eating and was having great difficulty walking. He was a really great cat and I'd like to share a photo of him sitting in one of his favorite spots....the sunbeam in our kitchen.

Poor Billy! I'm so sorry. He really was the best cat ever. When I saw your post, I went and petted his wannabe apprentice Mango, and told him about what a good cat Billy was. He purred, which I'd like to think meant he agreed and will try to be good in Billy's honor. We will see.

He was a great cat!! Do you have any photos of him (digital maybe) that you could send me copies of? I'm putting together a photo album I think. It still hasn't sunk in that he's gone :(
