Birthing Options?

What are your thoughts? Too bad you are not in the Northwest because the norm here is MUCH more pro natural (low intervention, home or birthing center) births, and people don't think it's weird or DANGEROUS! Try to see The Business of Being Born if at all possible--it's hialrious because the midwife actually was pregnant while making the movie, and had her home birth filmed and she was screaming for an epidural. She had the hardest birth of anyone on the documentary, other than the photographer, who ended up giving birth in a hospital at the last minute because there were complications. But the midwife saw the complications and it didn't seem like a big deal to switch and go to the hospital. You might want to talk with Elizabeth Mauldin because she's very into natural health, and has researched lots of baby issues from birth to vaccination, etc
