Ghetto food in a romantic atmosphere? I would chose a McMenamins. On the Columbia is nice, or you could go to one of their historic properties, Kennedy school has a nice dark dining room or outdoor seating.

I vote for the Melting Pot in Ptown. Its basically fondu in a three course meal, and at the end you get chocolate fountain. Kevin and I go to the Pcg all the time its really nice and you eat by candle light. You cant go wrong with candles and a view of the city.

Oh man, Kyla, I agree with this one. Melting Pot is my all-time fave. I think you guys would have a great time, and they have an awesome wine selection to pair with the meal. Great food, and it's totally an experience.

They also, as nerdy as it sounds, have a horse-drawn carriage through Portland which was pretty nice the last time I went. Which was, um, years and years ago.

Stanfords has always done the drink, the dining room is quiet and very nice, also City Grill is noisy, but they do have some plain stuff you may like, I searched romantic restraunts in the area and I have never been there, but what about the Heathman? I guess the resteraunt part is Hudson's Bar and Grill, if none of those sound good call me we'll chat or we should all go out for a drink and we'll find something awesome!
