oh, i *totally* sang along, too. very loudly.

my parents had a great disdain for televison and movies overall. in my early years the tv lived in the closet. they favored creative entertainment for my brother and me, like crafts and reading. which i guess is why i'm constantly ignorant of pop culture references in my generation. steve says i grew up in a skinner box.
